Owly, otherwise known as Mia in her everyday life, was inspired by her 2 little ones to pick up the hook again and create fun and fanciful toys, in addition to occasionally dabbling in embroidery and other needle arts. She lives with her two children and husband in Southern California.

What an interesting way to get to know you. I learned a few things! I had no idea you were embroidering. Next time you visit I will have to show you the Mexican transfers I have on my dining room wall. I still have many transfers not used. There are so old they fall apart when you wet them for application. But, maybe you can use them for design ideas.
